December

Can you believe that its December already?! This year has been going by in a whirl. In some ways, it seems like it's been SO long cause this year has changed my life :) I'm so happy right now at the way my life is turning out with my amazing little family just starting out. I have so much to be thankful for. I'm grateful for such a big extended family. I have a wonderful family that always helps me out when i need it. When we all get together its hectic, yes, but we always have a blast :) Being hectic just takes me back to the family parties from when i was young. It just brings a warm feeling being around family. Its awesome having as many as we do living here in Arizona.
I'm also so blessed with the friends i have made. I consider most of them my family as well. They are great examples to me.
Since Lydia was born, i've been working on a family video for us. i've just been adding more pictures as Lydia gets older. Its crazy to see how big she's already gotten! The video was so much fun to make and its gonna be fun adding more pictures and video to it as time goes on :)

Halloween!

Lydia had SO much fun for her first Halloween :) We were flapper girls and Max was an old time gangster. She looked so adorable in her dress and she knew it lol She was acting like 'Miss Thang' haha We had a blast and are so happy that Lyddie enjoyed it.

Fun Trip and A Wedding :)

This past week has been a lot of fun! We left last Saturday to go to California. We went with the whole family to Disneyland that following Monday. We all had a blast. We thought that Lydia wouldn't really know whats going on and not have that much fun but, from the moment we walked down mainstreet, she just started freaking out lol she loooved it!

The first ride we went on was small world. She just couldn't stop looking around at eveything. I would try to get her attention to take a picture but she couldn't even take a moment to look at me lol


My sister Alicia's kids were so much fun! Maddie thought she was so big just walking through the lines by herself.


The next day, me and Lyddie went out to lunch with Rebecca Marshall and her boys. I've never met her boys so it was awesome meeting those cute little cuties :) They were both so sweet. Alex was being so nice to Lydia. He kept making sure that she had food and toys hehe And it was so cute listening to him trying to pronounce her name :)

Cali was so much fun :) We got to see old friends, see the pier, and have some great family time :)


The Friday after we got home, it was Ali and Cody's wedding day! She looked gorgeous and they both just looked so happy. The reception was amazing! They had a photobooth, a yogurt machine, and some awesome music playing :) We had a blast and we are so happy to have Cody in our family! Congrats you guys!

I can't believe that my little girl is 6 months old! She's learned SO much in the past 6 months. We love having her in our family :) She's such a good little girl. I love watching her get bigger and learn more everyday.

Since she turned 6 months yesterday, i took her outside for a little dress up photo shoot and she loooved it :) She's such a girly girl and i love it! She actually enjoys shopping with me lol I couldn't ask for more :)

We Love Janet!

My good friend Janet came out to Arizona for my birthday this past weekend :) We had so much fun! Janet and i have been friends since we were 2. She lived right across the street from me. No matter how much we have changed or how far away we live from eachother, we always seem to get together at least twice a year and things are just as they've always been :) Max loves hanging out with Janet too. They laugh a lot and joke around whenever they get together. I KNEW Lydia would love Janet too lol Right when Lydia saw Janet, she just stared at her and talked to her. She loves her and it was so sad when Janet's time was up and we had to take her back to the airport :/ It went by way 2 fast but we were so glad that she took the time to come out here and see her little niece hehe

We took some pics of her and Lydia together so we can put one up in Lydia's room. We had a lot of fun taking pictures :)




Lydia just got her first 2 teeth in less than a weeks time! She's always holding her mouth weird and putting everything she can in her mouth to chew on.

Weird Thought...

A year ago tonight, i found out i was pregnant :) i remember taking a pregnancy test for about the 13th time in a 2 month span lol) and fianlly saw a super faint line! I came outta the bathroom and just smiled at Max hehe He asked me what was going on and i showed him the test. He was so excited but the line was so faint that he didnt want to get his hopes up lol I told him that there was no such thing as a false positive on a pregnancy test. I even looked it up online and it said exactly that. So i texted my best friend, Lindsay,and said "Hi, Aunt Lindsay :)" She wrote back "dose this mean what i think it means?!" haha It was so much fun finding out we were going to be parents :) We didnt want to tell family until we were outta the scary danger zone with the baby lol
We had NO IDEA at that time how much we would love that little baby! i even had a few scares while i was pregnant and cried everytime cause i couldnt stand to lose the little baby growing inside me that i didnt even really know yet. My best friend got a lot of calls and texts from me (some late at night, sorry!) just to ask if something was normal in a pregnancy lol Its so strange cause the moment that little baby was born, the moment we saw her, we both loved her more than anything in the world. Max and i have talked about the moment she came out, our whole lives had shifted. of coarse we loved her while she was in my belly, but you just cant explain that moment you first see your baby. its magic :) we're just having so much fun raising such a sweet girl.

My 4 Month Old...

Welp, Lyddie is 4 months old! She has gotten so big just in the past month! We also...(ready for this?!)...have her sleeping through the night! She's actually been sleeping trough the night for about 3 weeks now. It wasnt very hard at all. She pretty much went along with anything we did :) She gets tired around 6:30 or 7 and so we put her to bed after giving her a bath and feeding her. then she sleeps til 5:30 or sometimes 6am! Its so much nicer being able to get our sleep lol She only cries for about 5 minutes when we put her to bed and then shes out. i was really nervous to start doing it so i got a video baby monitor (which i highly recommend and i got it for super cheap on ebay) and it helps give me that peice of mind that she's ok. We were going to wait until she was 4 months to train her but she was doing so good at getting up just once at night, we slowly cut out that time at night :) She wakes up SO happy and she's happy most the day now!




She talks all the time now :) Whenever she's with her dad, she talks up a storm! its so funny! Its like she's telling him about her day :) i managed to get it on video the other night which is very hard to do cause she dosn't do anything with the camera out lol but i hid it pretty well so she had no idea :)
